Smith Sibley, Iowa Gazette 22 December 1892 J. D. Van Hook of Niantic, Illinois married Miss Lucy Jenkins of Viola Township. ( This is in Osceola County, Iowa). "Best wishes follow the couple to their Illinois home." James and Sarah Lucy Jenkins Van Hook lived in IL. for 3 years then returned to Osceola Co.
